Summary of Pricing

For new users signing up for the first time, you only need to pay the line activation charge and your plan price. The rest of the pricing is optional extra's and fees charged for services outside of what most users will need.

Pricing Required

Line activation (installation) charge: $145.00

This is a once off charge to install ADSL on your phone service. If you do not currently have ADSL on your service you will need to pay this fee. It is the cost for Telstra to go to your exchange and wire your telephone cable into the ADSL hardware at the exchange.

Churn Fee: $70.00

If you are currently connected to ADSL with another supplier that supports churn, and you wish to move to aaNet, instead of paying the line activation charge, you simply pay the Transfer fee instead.

Pricing Optional

Relocation and Change of Physical Line: $100.00

Used: If you are changing house address this is the fee to relocate your service.

Please Note: If you are still within your contract period the Early Termination Fee is also applicable.

You will then start a new contract at your new location (as DSL will be installed on a new physical line).

Early Termination: Capped at $100 for 6 month plans and $200 for 12 month plans. It is calculated using the following method:

The number of months remaining on the contract, multiplied by the monthly access charge. An additional fee of $55 is added should the service be cancelled within 6 months of service commencement.

Total Early Termination charge including administration fee is capped at $100 for 6 month plans and $200 for 12 month plans.

Used: If you decide to terminate the service while you are still in contract or if the ADSL codes are removed from you physical line whilst in contract.

Change of Lessee: $20.00

Used: When making a change to your telephone service that causes the ADSL codes to be removed from your line Such examples include changing your Telephone number, changing the name on your Telephone Account, or switching telephone providers. A Change Of Lessee is not always possible and depends on the actions of your telephone provider.

Additional IP addresses, per month charge (each): $2.00

Used: Additional IP's are available if you wish to run servers that need a public internet address. You must purchase these in blocks of 4, 8, 16 or 32.

IP Address Change, each instance: $20.00

Used: If you have done something you shouldn't and have been banned from some sites and you need a new IP address.

Plan Change - Same or more expensive monthly fee: $0

Used: When changing to another plan with the same or higher cost than your current plan.

Plan Change - Lower monthly fee: $20

Used: When changing to another plan that costs less than your current plan.

Speed Change: $20

Used: In addition to any plan change fees, used if your plan change also involves a change of speed.

Reverse DNS entry: $20.00 Once off charge.

Used: If you wish to change your .Netcall supplied reverse DNS entry. This is a popular option for people who want to run their own email servers.

Pricing Fee/Penalties

Dishonour Fee for Credit Card: $5.00 per instance, up to $20 maximum per Month.

Used: When your credit card bounces or is invalid for any reason. You can change your details in the Members section to avoid these charges. Please keep this up to date.

Password Reset: $20.00

Used: If you have lost either your ADSL password (now changeable so please write it down) or your members section password. If you know what your password is and you want to change it, you can do it through the members section for free at anytime. Please write it down and keep it in a safe place. To change your Email account or Webspace passwords simply log in to the members section, select the appropriate management link (email or webspace) and choose the 'change password' option.
