.Netcall modem disclaimer

Modem Disclaimer: Modems are provided by netcall through Billion (PC Range) for customer convenience and come with a limited 12 months warranty. Every effort will be made by netcall to ensure the customer has a modem at the time of Telstra’s connection to the netcall ADSL service, however modems are shipped via Billion (PC Range) through Australian Air Express and netcall cannot guarantee delivery times. As such, netcall accepts no liability for modem delivery and can not reimburse customers for the inability to use the Telstra/netcall ADSL service due to late modem arrival and all ADSL service charges will stand. netcall does not refund modems that are opened or secondhand unless they are defective. All modem returns including DOA, must be sent to Billion Australia for a replacement or refund if it is deemed necessary. Unopened modems returned for a reason other than your service was “rejected” by Telstra will incur a restocking charge of 10% and postal charges must be paid by the consumer.

Any modem deemed defective at any time whether it is purchased from .Netcall or not, does not exempt the customer from paying for the ADSL service even though the customer may not be able to use the ADSL service due to the defective modem.
